Voice actor Salvador Rios began his journey into entertainment when at 14 years old, a very quiet, nervous and shy boy enrolled in the high school theater for an "easy A".  That year, theater changed his life. By the time he was a senior, Salvador knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that his pursuit in life would be in the world of entertainment.

Today, Salvador has over 17 years of entertainment industry experience both behind and in front of the camera. His early career began as a production assistant with Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando, Florida where he was employed on several seasons of game shows such as Slimetime Live, Double Dare 2000 as well as several television commercials and promos for the network.

During his time at Nickelodeon Studios, he transitioned from production assistant to casting for on-air game shows.

Before long, his path in television led him to move to Los Angeles and produce and direct documentaries and reality shows for various networks such as National Geographic, Discovery Channel, A&E, Biography Channel, OWN and MTV.  Oh yeah, he was also an associate producer for the Jerry Springer show!

Throughout the years, Salvador often felt the creative outlet to play pretend was missing in his life.   There was a deep calling to return to acting; he missed the stage and the discovery of characters.

The entertainment capital of the world inspired Salvador to follow his heart and he enrolled in his first professional improv class at Improv Olympic in L.A.  He has since taken several courses at some of the world’s most recognized and respected improv schools; Second City and Upright Citizens Brigade.

In 2012, Salvador accepted an opportunity to perform in front of a camera on several projects including a national commercial for AAA Auto Club. Soon after, he accepted an opportunity to voice a radio spot for AAA Auto Insurance as part of the same advertising campaign. The experience of working in the voiceover booth with an incredibly talented director and producers ignited a fire within him. He found his new calling and immersed himself in workshops, websites and countless books to learn everything about the world of voice acting. He reached out to top industry professionals in the commercial and animation world such as Bob Bergen, Ginny McSwain, Crispin Freeman, Richard Horvitz, Mick Wingert, Kalmenson and Kalmenson, Bang Zoom! and others for training and insight into the world behind the mic.

Salvador’s drive, passion and determination have led him to excel in the behind-the-scenes world of television as a producer. Today, these same qualities will continue to propel his career as a voice actor for many years to come.
